We recognise the importance to adhering to a strong set of standards, that’s why, here at Gpex we actively participate in the following schemes.
ISO 9001:2008: A consistent approach to the Quality Management principles of this widely recognised International Standard ensures a commitment to the latest requirements: ‘continual improvement’ and ‘customer satisfaction’.
ISO 14001:2004: A sustainable commitment to Environmental Management ensuring a responsible relationship with both local and global environments. As an ISO14001 company, our environmental commitment extends to the solutions we deliver. From low power consumption digital printing equipment to vegetable based inks.
FSC®: We are FSC accredited. As an approved FSC certified printer we are delighted to supply print on the full range of accredited papers and observe all the stipulations this involves. We use vegetable based inks for lithographic printing, our latex large format machines use water-based, non-toxic inks and our estimating system calculates the most cost effective way to print each job to minimise waste.
Trees for Life: Each time a new client joins us, we plant a tree on their behalf in our forest in Scotland. So, as we grow, so does our forest. The trees in this grove will be carefully planted in protected sites in the Scottish Highlands where they will create homes for wildlife and forests for the future.
Two Sides: We are part of an initiative by companies from the Graphic Communications Supply Chain who share a common goal to promote the sustainability of the Graphics Communication Supply chain and dispel common environmental misconceptions on why print and paper is an attractive, practical and sustainable communications medium.
